Respite

Respite services for individuals with special needs offer much-needed relief and support to caregivers and families. These services provide temporary care and supervision for individuals with special needs, allowing caregivers to take a break, attend to personal responsibilities, or simply recharge. Respite services can be provided in various settings, including in-home or at specialized facilities, and are tailored to meet each individual's unique needs and preferences. Highly trained respite care providers ensure the safety, well-being, and engagement of individuals with special needs during their temporary stay. Respite services not only provide caregivers with valuable respite from their responsibilities but also offer individuals with special needs the opportunity to socialize, engage in stimulating activities, and experience new environments in a supportive and nurturing setting. 

Habilitation

Habilitation services for individuals with special needs focus on enhancing their skills and promoting independence in various aspects of daily life. These services are designed to support individuals in acquiring, maintaining, or improving their functional abilities, social interactions, and adaptive behaviors. Habilitation services encompass a range of interventions and activities tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. Highly trained professionals work closely with individuals with special needs, providing guidance, training, and support to develop skills such as self-care, communication, mobility, socialization, and community integration. Habilitation services empower individuals to participate actively in their communities, achieve personal goals, and lead fulfilling lives by building upon their strengths and promoting overall growth and development.

Attendant Care

Attendant care services for adults with special needs provide crucial support and assistance to promote their independence and overall well-being. These services are designed to assist individuals with various daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and engagement in their preferred lifestyles. Attendants offer personalized care, helping with tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, and meal preparation. They also provide companionship and emotional support, fostering social interaction and reducing feelings of isolation. Attendant care services aim to enhance the quality of life for adults with special needs by empowering them to maintain their autonomy, participate in their communities, and pursue their personal goals and interests.

Group Support Employement

In our group-supported employment program, individuals learn important functional job skills such as customer service skills, money skills, professionalism, and so much more. They will gain the skills needed to have mindful and meaningful employment for work longevity.

 

Fostering Hope provides group-supported employment services for adults with all levels of abilities. The pride of earning a paycheck is something most people want in life, we all deserve the opportunity to earn a paycheck. Earning your own money leads to confidence, pride, and a desire to want to be your own person and be self-sufficient. Fostering Hope will do everything we can to assist every person in our work program to be successful with functional work skills.

Developmental Homes

As a provider for Fostering Hope LLC, you would be licensed to share your family home setting with an individual with special needs. Essentially making them part of your family including them in daily activities, mealtimes, community outings, and holidays. As a provider, you would play an active role in ensuring that services with other involved entities, including day treatment programs and health care providers are coordinated to meet the needs of the member served.


The goal of a developmental home for individuals with special needs is to maximize their independence and quality of life.

Day Treatment For Adults

Our goal is to teach individuals life skills and enhance their quality of life while working on personal goals to help increase independence. Our life skills focus includes health and wellness,
technology and computer skills, cooking skills, and so much more! We want to foster and cultivate life skills that will help individuals to be happy and successful at home and in their community.
