Hello friends! We hope you had an amazing Christmas and we wish you a happy holiday season from each of us here at Fostering Hope! We have had a festive couple of months and can't wait to share all about out. Keep reading to find out what each of our programs have been up to.
Group Supported Employment (GSE):
Our GSE Staff has done an extraordinary job to provide festive and engaging activities to our members at our farm. We kicked off the Holiday Season with a spirit week! Throughout the month members also enjoyed a visit from The Grinch! Our Christmas season was topped off with a fun Christmas Party that included a gift exchange. Pictures below:
Our GSE members have also been hard at work learning and making their organic compost! They have a chance to learn about agriculture and gardening through hands-on experiences.
Day Treatment Program for Adults (DTA) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS):
Our DTA and HCBS programs have also been hard at work to provide our members and employees a magical holiday season. Spirit Days and Christmas activities were also celebrated at their locations. Pictures on their festivities to come! Our DTA program does include a full kitchen allowing for festive holiday culinary experiences to take place!
